Rule No. 1: Never Skip N Seoul Tower
It’s almost impossible to not spot the N-Seoul Tower in Seoul.

Nestled atop Namsan Mountain stands the iconic N Seoul Tower, also known as Namsan Tower or Seoul Tower. This landmark is captivating locals and tourists alike with its stunning architecture and diverse array of attractions. You can get there by foot when walking up Namsan or you could even take a cable car. The latter is really convenient, but I recommend walking up if you can: It’s a small challenge that brings a lot of joy.

A Famous Symbol
Standing tall at an impressive height of 236 meters, N Seoul Tower has been a sign of Seoul's modernity for a long time now. It used to be a broadcasting tower but became a cultural center, drawing many, many excited visitors each year. The tower's special design has made it an instantly recognizable symbol of the city.
Breathtaking Views
Whether it's the glowing cityscape illuminated against the night sky, the impressive mountains that cradle Seoul, or the surrounding landscapes - the panoramic views from the tower are always mesmerizing. Ascending to the observation decks, visitors can overlook all those breathtaking views that stretch as far as the eye can see (and as long as the air quality is good enough aka fine dust isn’t blocking the view >.>).
Couples, Couples, Couples
Honestly, if you’re here on your own you may feel like a little “forever alonie” from time to time, because if it comes to dating destinations, N Seoul Tower is THE spot. And of course it is: Romantic views, twinkling lights in the evening, beautiful sunsets - N Seoul Tower has it all. Also, let’s not forget the love locks. They cover the fences surrounding the tower, and couples just enjoy symbolizing their love by putting their own lock there as well. I really think, it’s a cute gesture and it always warmed my heart a little, when I witnessed a couple excitedly putting up their own love lock. :)
Views, Romance .. But Also Culture!
In addition to its well known observation decks, N Seoul Tower offers a diverse range of attractions to the visitors, as well. There are for example cultural events, exhibitions and performances, providing a lively space for cultural exchange. The tower also has restaurants, cafes, and shops, offering traditional Korean cuisine and unique souvenirs. There’s something to find and enjoy for every taste.
